We call ourselves a team because it takes teamwork to go fishing and be able to enjoy yourself.  If you can't have fun, why do it?  Fishing is a lot of work and a lot of people do not realize all that goes into it.  Thanks to the team below, everyone in the team enjoys what we do.

Chris Couture

Chris is the team leader and the captain of Southbound.  He has been fishing the Gulf of Mexico since 1995 when he got his first offshore boat "Xtremist".  With an extensive collection of fishing numbers and skillful boat placement, he always insures that the team comes home with plenty of fish to clean.

When he is not fishing, taking care of the boat or the tackle, he is designing web sites and computer programs for All Pro Sound and for other companies. If you need a web site, give him a shout!

Favorite Fishing Spot: My favorite fishing spot would have to be the Ram Powell just because it is so awesome to know that you are dragging baits in 6000' of water.  Plus there is no telling what you will catch or see that far offshore.

Favorite Fish to catch: Amberjack on a penn 9500 with a lazertail jig.  It's hard to beat the rush of a nice AJ making the drag scream and the thrill knowing he in only inches from breaking you off in the wreck.

Favorite Fish to eat: Triggerfish... I love a good trigger sandwich!
Stan Zawisza

 

Stan has been fishing with Chris since the start, from the 21' Robalo to the 27' Grady and now to the 32' Albemarle.  Stan brings many years of charter boat experience to the team.

When Stan is not ripping the lips off of the fish (literally.), he can be found at All Pro Sound designing home entertainment systems for clients.

Ryan Shipman

 

Ryan has been fishing with the team for about 3 years now.  Ryan brings many years of charter boat experience to the team as well.

When Ryan is not bowed up on the big one, he is cursing at the truck drivers who make deliveries at All Pro Sound.
